Line Cook Position

At the Eastern Peak, we believe our line cooks are one of the major gears of our restaurant's inner operations. Without our talented line cooks, we wouldn't be able to consistently provide a large portion of our menu to our customers. As a line cook, you have the opportunity to use your own experience and technique to prepare and expedite many of our treasured dishes. You will work alongside our chefs and stir fry cooks to prepare food, adhere to health standards, and keep the kitchen clean and organized. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Staying up to date on kitchen protocol and standards
  • Preparing food in a presentable and timely manner
  • Keeping supplies and food sufficiently stocked
  • Utilizing proper portioning techniques
  • Keeping your workspace clean and organized
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Heavy lifting, at times

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience preferred in restaurant industry
  • Knowledge of cooking techniques and equipment
  • Flexible availability
  • A desire to succeed in a progressive, exciting, and fast-paced environment
  • High school diploma or GED (another equivalent acceptable)
  • Superb ability to communicate with coworkers
