Sushi Chef Position

The Sushi Chef role is one of our most exciting positions at the Eastern Peak. We are a firm believer that our unique and memorable dining experience starts with our kitchen team, especially our sushi chefs. As a Sushi Chef, you will maintain close attention to standards and protocol, all while preparing delicious cuisine. Your personal touch and attention to artful detail will ultimately be what helps you excel as a sushi chef. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and expedite sushi in a presentable, timely manner
  • Utilize a broad range of techniques to ensure excellent quality
  • Closely follow and adhere to kitchen standards and protocol
  • Keep supplies and ingredients stocked and organized
  • Maintain an organized and clean workspace in the kitchen
  • Interact competently and professionally with co-workers

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience preferred in restaurant industry
  • Knowledge of cooking techniques and equipment
  • Flexible availability
  • A desire to succeed in a progressive, exciting, and fast-paced environment
  • High school diploma or GED (another equivalent acceptable)
