Table Busser Position

In a busy restaurant setting, bussers are integral cogs for keeping things moving at a quick pace. As a busser, you will help servers keep tables organized and assist on an as-needed basis. In some cases, you might help servers with stocking supplies, guest satisfaction, or preparing tables for occupancy between parties. While the table busser is an entry level position, there is plenty of room and potential for promotion to server/host status, or even management, depending on drive and performance. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Keeping the dining room orderly and continuously ready for new patrons
  • Cleaning and resetting tables
  • Assisting customers on an as-needed basis
  • Supporting servers in various scenarios
  • Keeping your bussing station clean and orderly

REQUIREMENTS

  • Flexible availability
  • A desire to succeed in a progressive, exciting, and fast-paced environment
  • High school diploma or GED (another equivalent acceptable)
  • Superb ability to communicate with coworkers
  • Customer service skills
  • Ability to remain standing for extended periods
